Personally though, I prefer just paying a subscription. I’d think it’s better to be able to play the whole game and be weaker than to have most of the game locked out and be unable to join pretty much any party. You CAN, however, use all or almost features of the game, and travel to all places in the world. Yes, it has the advantage that there’s no time limit on the trial, but again, that was only significant when all other MMOs were p2p.Īlso, most other “free” MMOs really are free, although you’re at a substantial disadvantage if you don’t use their cash shop. IIRC, most of the world is locked until you subscribe.
